3 Green Tea Recipes You'll Love This Summer

Se Chung Oolong is our green tea. It's lightly herbaceous in flavour with gentle, floral aromatics. Se Chung is a semi-fermented, lightly roasted organic green tea from Fujian, China.

Oolong green tea has been used for centuries to improve well-being and longevity. This ceremonial plant is rich in antioxidants that help to reduce free radical damage and support cell regeneration. The combination of naturally occurring caffeine and L-theanine helps to support mood, energy levels and mental focus. Green tea has traditionally been used to support the cardiovascular system and balance blood sugar and blood pressure. 

 

Peach Green Tea Smoothie

Serves 2

  • 3 cups Se Chung Oolong Green Tea (strong brewed, chilled)

  • 3 cups Frozen Peaches

  • 1 cup Frozen Cauliflower

  • 1/3 cup Lemon Juice

  • 3 tbsps Honey

Method: 

  1. Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Green Tea Lemonade Popsicles

Serves 6

  • 2 cups Se Chung Oolong Green Tea (brewed)

  • 1 tbsp Raw Honey

  • 1/4 Lemon (zested and juiced)

Method:

  1. If you haven't yet, brew your green tea. Add honey and lemon juice. Mix well and place in the fridge until chilled.

  2. Once chilled, pour into 3 oz paper cups. Sprinkle a pinch of lemon zest into each cup.

  3. Freeze for 45 to 60 minutes or until partially frozen. Insert popsicle sticks. If sticks aren't staying, freeze for additional 15 minutes and try again.

  4. Place in freezer for 4 hours or until completely frozen. Enjoy!

 

 

Iced Green Tea Lemonade

4 servings

Method:

  1. If you haven't yet, brew your green tea. Add honey and the juice of 1 lemon. Mix well and place in the fridge until chilled.

  2. Once chilled, pour into a glass jug. Slice the remaining lemon into rounds and add them in with the iced tea.

  3. Pour into glasses over ice. Add a straw and enjoy!
